HOW TO REACH THE MONASTERY OF VITORCHIANO

The Monastery of Our Lady of St Joseph is situated at the foot of The Cimini Mountains, roughly 8 km from the city of Viterbo and 1 km from Vitorchiano. It can be reached easily either by car or by public transport. The nearest Railway Station (Ferrovie dello Stato) is at Orte, on the Roma-Firenze line; the bus that links Orte with Viterbo stops at Vitorchiano Pallone, just five minutes' walk from the gate of the Monastery. The superstrada Orte-Viterbo passes only a few hundred metres away, as can be seen from the following map.
